How long do I have to complete the program? You can complete the program at your pace. There is no time limit  on completion. As long as the program has funding and support it will continue.

How do I get my passport validated to receive my prizes?
  • Email Tim Mensonides at [email protected] to set an appointment  at the Auburn Airport. Drop in validations are not available.
  • Or, mail your passport to the Auburn Airport at 2143 E Street NE, Suite 1, Auburn WA 98002.
  • For more information on the validation process, contact Tim Mensonides at the email listed above.

How can I sign up for email updates when there are changes to participating airports?  To opt in for email announcements from the Fly Washington Passport Program, simply follow this link:  Subscribe to FlyWA

How is the program funded? Through airports, aviation business and members of the passport team. Prizes are solely funded through sponsorship. If you would like to sponsor the Fly Washington Passport Program, please submit our Sponsorship Form.  Additional information on the Sponsorship page.

Can I take several passports for my friends?
Passport supplies are limited. Limit one passport per person. Please encourage friends to pick up a passport book at one of the locations listed above.

How do I know if an airport is participating in the program? Visit our Map page for a PDF list of participating airports, and an interactive map showing airports and stamp locations.

Where do I find the stamp?  Visit our Map page. Click on any airport icon for details on that airport's stamp location. The map is kept current on a weekly basis.

What does an airport have to do to participate? Encourage the airport manager or sponsor to contact the passport team. Participating airports must be public use.

Can my airport distribute passports? Geographic need and sponsorship levels drive the selection of airports where passports are distributed. The airports listed above were instrumental in starting and supporting the program, and are currently the only locations distributing passports.

The map is not working on my tablet or phone? If the Participating Airport pins are not showing when you open the map, push and hold until “open in a new tab” pops up, and let the map open in the new tab. This better enables the map pins to display on some devices.
What do I do if a stamp is missing? Please contact the passport team so they can replace the stamp. Take a time dated picture of yourself at the airport with your passport in hand in lieu of stamp.
What happens when a new airport is added to the program, but I have already started collecting stamps? As soon as a stamp is placed at a new airport, we add it to the interactive map, and to the list of participating airports with a mark indicating it is new on the list. Participants can collect the stamp at any time from then on. However, that stamp won't be required for that regional patch or the program completion threshold until the following calendar year. Furthermore, if your passport booklet has been validated for that region before we add that location to the Participating Airports list, you are not required to have it at all--you will have already been recorded as completing that region!
