Guidelines:
This is a friendly competition between airports to bring in food to help out your community. All food donations will stay in your own community.

Although we love our pets, this is a collection for human food. Dog and cat food, and even kitty litter can be accepted, but will not count toward the food drive poundage.

Clothing can be accepted, but will not count toward food drive poundage.

Water and nonalcoholic beverages are accepted and will count in the poundage.

Cash is accepted and is calculated as follows: $10 = 5.85 pounds of food (or 1 pound of food = $1.71)
Previous Fall Food Drive winners:
Bremerton National Airport (KPWT), Auburn Municipal Airport (S50) and Orcas Island Airport (KORS)

Bremerton National Airport earned the right to display the coveted trophy as a result of contributions collected during the 2022 food drive. Handmade by a local artist, the trophy features an actual taxiway light from Bremerton National Airport. (We promise no airport, aircraft or pilot was damaged as a result of the taxiway light removal.)

Honoring 2021 Fly Washington Passport Food Drive champion Auburn Municipal Airport: Auburn Mayor Nancy Backus spoke, Auburn Food Bank Executive Director Debbie Christian, Auburn Airport Manager Tim Mensonides, and Warren Hendrickson (formerly of Bremerton Airport, currently with Olympia Airport). Auburn Municipal collected 4,675 pounds of food, raising the bar on this competition for future years!
